Last Saturday, Aug 9th, my mom’s suffering from the battle of cancer came to an end. She closed her eyes and took her final breath as we all stood by her bed to say our final good-byes. The experience of watching a life source leave my side as the coraners removed her body from our home will have lasting effects on all who were present. Oddly Tori’s brain injury has kept her from producing emotional tears yet is was very evident she was grieving along with the rest of us. She would repeat the words “so sad”. Yes another loss is in our midst but the process of redemption has had its way once again as mom was lifted to that beautiful place where the expansion of love and real life through freedom of our wounded self has no bounds. For those of you who would like to attend we will be celebrating her life at EVFree Fullerton on Aug. 20th. The service will begin at 4:00 with a reception immediately following.
